Review: Crawlers come alive

Warrington band Crawlers played the 2nd night of the tour in Norwich at the Arts Centre, one of the city's oldest venues, providing music, drama and more since the 1970's.

The converted Medieval church was full to capacity by the time support act Arthur Black took to the stage, normally with a band However solo this time. A hauntingly good acoustic set for half an hour allowed Arthur to show fantastic vocal range.

A young artist from Norwich who is already making great strides.

The Main act have been making the right kind of noises for a few years now with Lead singer Holly Minto showing a great range of lyrics and a dynamic approach on stage that many could learn from.

Holly knew how to work the Arena and Crowd, with this being their first headline appearance in Norwich.

The band have been rising stars in the uk Alternative scene and are now making headway in Europe too, strong tracks such as I can't drive, normally reserved for an encore singalong, but early in the set hear, and "I don't want it" not only indicators of how far they have come, but also a strong indication of just where this exciting band are heading.

Crawlers have a strong pro fem message in their music, and there's a range of emotions in show from the young crowd, many of whom can relate to the stories told in the lyrics.

I've seen Crawlers a couple of times at bigger venue's and they are not out of place there, later this tour they play the CO-op Arena in Manchester and the O2 in Glasgow so will be gracing big stages again.

They're worth a look and definitely worth a singalong to!
