Collapse the Sky - 10 Year Anniversary Gig with Skinchanger and CTOAN - 17th July 2026 at The Brickmakers

Tonight we're at the Brickies to celebrate the incredible milestone of Collapse the Sky's 10 year anniversary, epic metalcore force from right here in Norfolk.

Opening tonight we have CTOAN (Can't Think of a Name, great band name) opening, a local 4 piece alternative hard rock band.  
They open with 'Juggernaut', a powerful start with blast beats, fast melodic riffs and strong vocals. 
'Writing on the Wall' is new material which really gets the crowd headbanging. 
The powerful screams and musically skilled 'Carve My Name' (recently released on streaming services) gets great interaction with the room. 

Ending strong with 'Return to Dust', it's a wonderful set and way to start the night. 

Main support and in celebration of their new album, Skinchanger, 3 piece progressive metal Norwich band, then take the stage.
This is a powerful, emotive album launch set by Skinchanger. The energy is really running high with their technical riffs and great beats. Their track 'Temper' really got a pit going.
We were also treated to the very touching 'Voyage', beautiful song we could all share in.
'Mortal coil', is an impressively strong track that really got the circle pit into action. 
Closing with 'Arc', a bass strong track, which was straight into a pit and headbanging.

Then our headliners, Collapse the Sky, wow, they have really developed, going from strength to strength over the last 10 years and tonight they do not disappointed.

They are so incredibly fast paced, with powerful tracks, and an undeniable control of the room. 
'Eradication', is a strong track which really gets the room moving.
For 'Return' the crowd is asked to bring out their torches and lighters, such an emotive moment for all involved, gave me goosebumps.

Then into high energy of 'White Flag'.

Everyone went wild for the epic new track 'Welcome|Death', then the whole place was jumping for 'Half-Life'.

For one of my favourite tracks 'Shark Week', there was a most impressive pit.
For the last 4 songs we got the wonderful treat of Collapse the Sky's old guitarist joining them on stage.

Then to add even more delight for the last 2 tracks members of the other bands re-joined the stage for 2 covers, ending with an amazing cover of Slipknot's 'People=Shit', absolutely incredible atmosphere with everyone singing along.

What an epic night, perfect line up that worked so well together, Norwich was treated an absolutely unique show that had electric atmosphere from start to finish.
