The Hives played Norwich in 2024 as part of the "Death of Randy Fitzsimmons" tour - the bands first album since 2012's Lex Hives, and the wait to hear the songs did not disappoint.
The Bands last visit had been just a few months earlier supporting the Arctic Monkeys at Carrow Road stadium, however this time there was a full 18 song set.
It's always energy straight off the bat and front man "howlin" Pelle Almqvist is a master of his craft. Not just a front man but an entertainer, all over the stage from the get go and enjoying the early crowd interactions.

As expected whenever the Swedish band take to the stage, they are joined by their mysterious ninjas, who do everything from play instruments, to Pyrotechnics and further add to the excitement.
There was a mix of old and new to the 18 song set, The bands 23 year career in showcase with known classics such as Main Offender, go right a head and Encore closer Tick Tick boom.
Hopefully it wont be too long until the next album, and we hope to see the band in Norwich again soon!
