New Zealand band The Beths are gearing up for the 29th August Launch of new album Straight Line Was a Lie with a teaser of 3 tracks.
No Joy is the stand out for us, Lizzy Stokes vocals as ever are engaging and Lyrically smart.
No Joy is a smart, well put together fun track, a neat drum solo midway through with the chorus dropping into something you can fully sing along to.
The Beth's toured the Uk in 2023, playing festivals including Truck with the last album "Expert in a Dying Field" getting good numbers streaming and the title track of the same name being the stand out hit.
2 other tracks "metal" and the melancholy and thoughtful "Mother, Pray for me" - an honest and upfront conversation that many of us wish we could have - have been revealed.
