Carsick put on a "sick" show in Norwich

 We often speak about how the British music scene is the best in the world and shows like Carsick in Norwich are why.

 

Support came from energetic Norwich band Pink Serene, up and comers on the circuit and no stranger to the Waterfront studio, they had to change around personnel with their usual drummer being away in Oxford, one of their guitarists filled in on Drums, and what a performance!

 

These are clearly some talented young musicians and i'm genuinely excited to see how far they go.

 

 

 Spangled are a music photographers dream! fresh from the release of Barracuda Cadillac, you can tell how well crafted their songs are and by the time you read this, new song Whirlwind will be out - give it a listen and give them a follow!

 

 

Carsick are just what you need to end the night with, following in the same mould as bands like Snayx and Kid Kapichi, with songs of life, some irreverent lyrics and saying it how it is.

 

I hadn't seen any of the bands live before, barring catching the last 30 seconds of Spangled at a festival a few years ago so it was refreshing to see some new acts.

 

2026 has started phenomenally with the bands coming to Norwich and we cannot wait to see who else is heading up the A11 (or A47!) in the coming months!
