One of the most exciting up and coming bands in the UK right now, The Last Dinner Party bring their visually stunning stage presence to Norwich again.
A packed LCR turned out early for the band, who took to stage just before 9 pm for nearly 2 hours of a mixture of tracks from their early recording "Prelude to Ecstasy", as well as new album "From the Pyre".
The band have a strong vocal presence from lead singer, Abigail, however it is the 4th song in the set "Caesar on a TV Screen, and harmonies with Guitarist Lizzie that really show the range and quality of the live shows.
The highlight from the new album is "this is the Killer speaking", with music video directed by Harv Frost who also created a short documentary about the band earlier this year.
We headed out into the fans to get their views from the show and spoke to Martin, who was attending with his Daughter
"Great gig tonight at the UEA. Very entertaining show with Abigail enthralling everyone with her magnetism and charm. They played Burn Alive for only the second? time in this tour. My daughter and I returned home very happy.
"
We agree, this was a top notch show from a band who can only be contenders for a big festival headline spot in the future... Are you reading Glastonbury 2027!?
