Stripknot: Myiasis - Norwich Waterfront - Saturday 7th March

So tonight Norwich was treated to a party from Hell.  We had the sold out show for Stripknot: Myiasis, epic collaboration of burlesque and Slipknot.  I wasn't sure what to expect from the night but tonight blew any I could have hoped for.

The Stripknot group performance begins, and wow, best combination of Slipknot and beautiful dancing.

From the moment Tixie walked on stage to introduce the night we knew we were in for an incredible evening , she immediately gained great rapport with crowd, especially Lucy in the front row.

First up Dolly Dahlia, the black widow, who's act included wax.  Black beauty to woo us into the spirit of the night.

Then we had Lola Filth as Pyramid Head for those of us gamers, amazing outfit followed by epic poi act.

Honey Bunny Blackthorn,  treated us to some magnificent chair work and tassels.

The next group performance was gorgeous, with floating red nets.  Then an intermission for essential drinks for performers and audience alike.

Coming back Tixie beckons us all again with her humour, wit and gorgeous self and begins the second half with a beautiful performance of her own.

Kitty Delight gives a western style show with cowgirl attire and chair work.

Following up Blu Cyanide, dark performance, starting in a straitjacket and feeding the crowd viral syringes of tasty liquid.

The penultimate performer is Ruby L'amour, not one for the arachnophobes.  Beautiful fan work, along with pulling spiders from her mouth.

Finishing up another epic Stripknot group performance, to the controversial and (in my opinion, under-rated and dreamy song, Snuff).

Wow, this was a night we will not forget and I cannot wait until next time.

If you love metal or burlesque (but especially if you love both), you need to see this show, so well thought out, with an incredible variety of performers, fun loving host and such epic energy from the depth of hell.
