Hello, wonderful to have you taking part in our interview series.
Thanks for having me.
You’re originally from beautiful Yorkshire, what drew you to this fine city?
Yorkshires Bonny but I came here for uni and to be nearer my grandparents.
I played the open mic circuit throughout uni but really got involved in the local music scene at the end of third year. Some great people and great venues have kept me here since.
Are you looking forward to Wild Paths Festival? Have you played here before?
Certainly, Ben and his team never fail to put on a great show.
I played wild fields both days last year. Sam Eagle took me on the main stage on the first day for a great set. Then the lovely Gabby Rivers had me along for a set the next day.
That's awesome, there is always such a good line-up.
What inspired you to start on your musical journey? What do you think inspires you the most musically now?
My family are musical and it was natural to idolise musicians in the family. For the last 12 years I’ve played and I’ve always looked to express whatever message I have through music - so long as it’s relevant and wanted.
Nowadays I’m not following any one particular idol but rather the journey of the Beat Generation all those years ago.
Your hair is fantastic, do you have to do anything to keep it looking good on stage or are you just lucky?
Keep on eating those bread crusts and see.

I’m looking for a great open conversation with all those in attendance. We’ve got a great WP team, awesome artists, and the oh so friendly Norwich flaneurs spectating the event.
I’m really looking forward to the improv jam sessions as St Lawrence’s.
This is going to be amazing, lucky people who get to witness this.
I’m looking forward to progressing the Pedro Danger. With a new songbook I’m looking to get a band playing with me, I’m at a place where I’m very happy with my bass and guitar talent, so now I’m reach out to play gigs in new places with new people. If you can dig it then get in touch!
What’s coming up for you in the next year?
I’m releasing some new songs I’ve been working on with Catch 21 records. My next single will be released Oct 17th!
Otherwise you can see my playing around East Anglia and London with the Laurence Kingston band and the Samuel Easter band. Also, some bigger drops that will have to be revealed later in the year.
The dream is to publish an album with friends with a hell of a lot of variety and fun had by all.
Lots of wonderful things on the horizon for you, really excited for you.
